'Witches Hat' climbing-frame jumper

This jumper was part of a collection called 'There's Fun To Be Had'. Made for a gallery exhibition entitled The Joy of Spring. 

For me, (as an old child), spring is a return to playing outside and a re-scrambling on the joyful if potentially lethal playground apparatus of my youth.

And there was none so deadly as The Witches Hat. A device small people could fall through with ease, either to be decapitated by the swinging rim of the base, or dragged in circular movements until all skin had been shredded from their legs and arms. 

This jumper is a badge of survival. 

It is hand printed onto a preloved marino wool top in good nick, using coloured flock. And the knots which appear at each intersection of the ropes have been emphasised with real embroidery knots for added texture and a ton of extra effort!

Size-wise, I'd say it's a comfy UK size 12. Nice and baggy for a size 10 and pleasingly fitted for a size 14.
